(north side) 19/133 Rose Cottage and adjoining out- buildings and boundary wall

G.V. II

House and adjoining outbuildings and boundary wall, now a house. Early C18 and early C19, with late C19 and C20 alterations. Dressed limestone, coursed and squared ironstone with ashlar dressings and natural and artificial slate roofs. 3 stone gable stacks and single brick ridge stack. 2 storeys plus garrets, 3 bays. L-plan. Street front has 3 tall glazing bar sashes, and above, 3 smaller similar sashes. East side has gabled wing to left with a lean-to addition with a crenellated parapet. To right, half-glazed door flanked to left by an unglazed opening, both with multiple keystoned heads. Above it, a glazing bar sash. Above again, to left, a small square,casement to the garret. Rear has lean-to full width addition, with 3 leaded casements. Above, gabled dormer, 1986. 2 storey rear wing, 6 bays, has irregular fenestration with C19 casements and sliding sashes.
