Large House. C17 core but much altered in late C19 or early C20. Coursed ironstone
rubble with Swithland slate roof. Main range of 2½ storeys and three bays,
with central doorway, a glazed door beneath chamfered stone lintel. Either
side of it, two storey squared stone bays contain 3-light wood mullioned and
transomed windows on each floor. 2-light window above door and 2-light casements
in attic storey, set beneath shaped gablets. Overhanging eaves. Roof a C19
or C20 heightening. Rear range is rendered with two C17 stone mullioned windows
in its side elevation, one replaced in ground floor porch, the other, above
it has hood mould. Various tall sash windows in its rendered rear wall.
