2/83 Cornclose Farmhouse and Barn
GV II
House. Mid C18. Rendered over ironstone rubble with low pitched Swithland slate roof, and limestone quoins. Two storeyed with attic. Six bays, doorway to left of centre, a six panelled door in case with console brackets. Two windows to its left, three to right, all 12-light sashes (but one renewed) with flat heads and keystones. Upper windows similar. Attic storey has blind openings of less height. Axial and right hand gable stacks. Range of barns adjoins to left, ironstone rubble to ground floor, brick above. Double doors to right then a single door, a ventilation slit and window with flat arched brick head. Diamond vent in first floor and two new casement windows.
