4/1 Bardon Hall II
Country house, c.1830 by Robert Lugar for Thomas Hood. Roman cement with stone dressings, slate roofs, octagonal ridge stacks. Tudor style. 2 storeys, 4 window range, with asymmetrically-placed projections. Round-headed entrance, one bay from right in 2-storey porch with rusticated quoins, beneath curved gable. Other bays articulated by straight gables. Double string course between ground and 1st floors. Mullioned and transomed windows of 1, 2 and 3 lights, some with hood moulds over. Panelled entrance hall.
