Hercules Inn and House to
South West
GV II
Inn. Early C19. Painted brick with plain tiled hipped roof. Two storeyed,
single bay to street with doorway beneath console canopy to right and a 25
pane sash window with flat arched head to left, on each floor. Set back
slightly to the left an additional bay is taken up by an archway through to
the rear with a 25 pane sash window above it. Recess to the right the
neighbouring house has doorway in round headed archway to the left, and two
fixed light windows of 2-lights with a 20 pane sash beyond. The three upper
windows are also 20 pane sashes. Hipped roof. Each block has gable end
stacks. Dentilled eaves throughout.
