MAIN STREET 1. 5304 (North Side) HUMBERSTONE Humberstone Manor SK 60 NW 15/135 II 2. Medieval origin encased in C18 red brick. L-shaped on plan. Slate roof with gabled ends. Two storeys. Segmental brick arches, first floor horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars, ground floor C19 three-light sashes. Late C19 wooden gabled porch. Initials and date "W.P. 1789" on gable. Early C19 additions at rear. Interior: segmental vaulted cellars, timber ceiling beams. Medieval (probably C15) roof timbers in south east wing probably of original hall and solar.
