3/63 The Grange with adjoining stableblock, wall, piers and gate

House, stableblock, wall,piers and gate. Dated 1851. Ashlar and coursed rubble stone,the house with plinth, rusticated quoins, 1st floor band,stone dressings, dentilled cornice and parapet, and C20 tile hipped roof with stone left end stack. 2 storeys of a 2/2 sash window both floors either side a central section with projecting stone porch beneath a further sash, the section surmounted by pediment containing carved lion's head in central bull's eye. The window architraves have carved head keystones and the porch pilasters and balustrade with urns and a pair of 1-light windows to the sides. Glazed door with stone surround inside. 2 storey wing to right. Stable block,with Welsh slate roof and in similar style but less elaborate,is dated 1851. Extending from house a stone wall with pair of piers and cast iron pedestrian gate.
