Farmhouse, dated 1772 above door, with later extensions, now house and cottage. Watershot coursed sandstone, stone slate roof with chimneys in the centre of the ridge, at each original gable, at the left gable, and behind the ridge at the right gable. Two bays plus an added bay at each end, all double-depth except that added at left. Two storeys: centre panelled door with modern pedimented wooden surround, datestone above inscribed G D M/1772 (said to be Daniel and Margaret Gregory), modern bay window to right with pyramidal slate roof, a three-light window above this and a four-light window on each floor to the left, all these with modern wooden mullions; addition to left has similar three-light window at first floor and altered window at ground floor. At right end No.1 has doorway to right protected by a slab canopy on beaked brackets, a stepped triple-light window on each floor, and in the right return wall a two-light flush mullion window at first floor.
Interior: No.3 has beams with small chamfer, stone dogleg staircase with stout turned balusters set close together, some fielded panel doors, and "duck's nest" fireplace in rear bedroom; ratcheted pot-hook ("rackencrook") found in chimney of main ground floor fireplace.
