Caretaker's house to Manchester Road Methodist Church, mid-C19, now private dwelling. Rock-faced sandstone with quoins, steeply-pitched slate roof with gable chimneys and stone copings. Three-bays, single depth (blind-back), 2 storeys with projecting 2-storey porch. Symmetrical, in Tudor style: porch has slightly oversailing upper storey, chamfered rectangular doorway with 3-light mullioned fanlight, a 2-light window above, and a carved panel in the gable; one large 6-light window with a high transom each side of the porch, and at 1st floor all windows (including that in porch) have 2 arched lights with hollow spandrels. Included for group value with Methodist Church and Manse (q.v.).
