Barn c. 50 metres north east of 5/122 Euxton Hall 3.8.1981 (Formerly listed as Barn to north-east - II of Euxton Hall)

Barn, C17. Red sandstone with modern sheeted roof. Rectangular plan 8 bays, but with later smaller wing attached to north west corner. Opposed wagon doors with prominent cheeks near right end; south wall has 4 altered openings, and ventilation slits on 3 levels; right gable wall has an inserted window and ventilation slits on 4 levels; left gable wall has a band at eaves level, at ground floor 3 square windows and a round-headed doorway, above these 2 circular openings, and above the band a square pitching window. Interior: 6 original roof trusses: tie beams supported by wall posts and braces, raking struts to rafters, strutted collars, with kingposts; 3 tiers of windbraced purlins.
