Public house, probably early to mid C19. Coursed sandstone rubble, slate
roof with gable chimneys in brick. Double pile 2 bay plan. Three storeys.
Round-headed doorway offset left of centre has moulded jambs and head with
a keystone; ground floor has large tripartite sashed windows, stone sills,
jambs, and heads with keystones; 2 sashed windows on each floor above;
painted sign hanging on bracket in centre of 1st floor.
