13/36 No. 2 Lower Hall Cottages 15-.2-1967 GV II
House, 1824. Rubble, mainly limestone, with sandstone dressings and stone slate roof. 2 storeys. Windows have plain stone surrounds. The main part of the facade has a 2-light window to the left of the door, sashed with glazing bars and with a central square mullion. To the right of the door is a one-light window on the ground floor, with a similar window above which has 'WA' inscribed on the lintel and '1824' on the sill. The door has a chamfered stone surround. The right-hand part of the facade has a 3-light window with square mullions on the ground floor and a similar window of 2 lights on the 1st floor. To the left is a chamfered entrance with segmental arch, a door with plain stone surround being set back within the lobby formed by this entrance. A stone gutter is supported on rectangular corbels. End chimneys. The right-hand (north) gable has a 1st floor door, entered from a higher ground level, with chamfered stone surround.
