House and barn, mid C18th. Sandstone rubble-with slate roof. 2 storeys.
Original house of 2 bays, having surrounds with slight chamfers and
flat-faced mullions, on the ground floor of 3 lights and of 2 lights on
the 1st floor. The door, between bays, has long-and-short jambs and a hood
of 2 pitched stone slates. At the left is an added bay which has sashed
windows with plain reveals. End chimneys, with 3rd chimney to right of
added bay. The barn at the right is higher and has a central door with
plain reveals with a blocked doorway immediately above it. To the right on
the ground floor is another blocked door. At the rear are later additions
and a wide entrance with plain reveals and timber lintel. Inside are 4
trusses with tie beams and collars.
