GV II
House, 1700. Slobbered rubble with blue slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Windows rebated and chamfered with mullions, with some lights sashed with glazing bars and some fixed with glazing bars. On the 1st floor they are of 2 lights. At the left on the ground floor is one of 4 lights. At the right is a sashed window with stone surround. The door, in the central bay under an open timber porch, has a chamfered surround with a battlemented lintel inscribed: 'BW 1700'. Chimneys to left and right. Inside, the left-hand room has a chamfered firehood bressumer and a shouldered fireplace with cornice mantel and a moulding which is swept upwards in the centre of the lintel. To the left is a spice cupboard which has a shouldered door with marquetry design. The right-hand room has a dentilled cornice, a built-in corner cupboard with shouldered raised and fielded panel, and raised and fielded panelling below a dado. The fireplace has a shouldered timber architrave, a moulded mantel, and a pair of fluted pilasters above.
