11/19 Little Catshaw Farmhouse and barn 2-5-1968 adjoining to west

House, 1763, altered, with barn probably later C18th. Sandstone rubble with slate roof. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Windows have chamfered surrounds with central mullions removed. Door, in middle bay, has plain stone surround. Above is an oval plaque inscribed: 'IHF 1763'. Gutter carried on stone brackets. End chimneys. The barn, to the left, has a wide entrance under a canopy with cheeks. To its left are external stone steps to a 1st floor doorway. Further left are lean-to additions. The left-hand gable wall has 3 shippon doorways to the original part of the building, with 2 windows between them, all with plain reveals.
