The shop portion facing the street is C19, red brick and grey headers, having a gable with fretted bargeboards. The house behind it facing the churchyard is an L-shaped timber framed, probably C15, building with some plaster and some painted brick infilling and some close-studding. Gable at the south end of the west front containing an attic window. The eaves of the south front overhang widely on the longitudinal beam and brackets. Tiled roof. Some original mullioned windows and some casement windows. C19 porch to south front. Two storeys. Three windows facing west, two windows facing south. The courtyard to the south is paved with Bethersden Marble.
