Details
EYTHORNE COLDRED ROAD TR 24 NE (West Side) 4/30 West End House, North End House 10.11.63 and Westfields II House in 3 occupations. Mid and late C18 exterior to late medieval building. Timber framed origin, reclad and rebuilt with red and blue brick, with chalk and flint basement and lower side and rear walls. Plain tiled roof. Two storeys on rendered plinth with parapet stepped down to right to hipped roof with stacks to left and to end right. The end left and end right bays project slightly, that to right being a late C18 addition to the main range. Five glazing bar sashes on first floor and 3 on ground floor with segmental heads, and small wooden casement to right.0n ground floor basement opening to centre left. half-glazed door to centre right in lugged and moulded surround with entablature blocks to fluted frieze and cornice. Interior: Cellar lined with chalk blocks. All ground floor rooms with plain C18 pitch pine panelling. Lugged moulded wooden fire surrounds. Dog leg plan stair with plain balusters, and raised and fielded panelling in upper landing. Fragments of timber frame visible. Renewed roof.
