Cottage pair, now house. 1870's. George Devey for William Oxenden Hammond.
Dressed stone and red brick with blue diapers, roughcast and exposed
framed upper storey with plain tiled roof. St. Albans Court estate style. One
storey and attic with continuous jetty and moulded bressumer on corbelled
brackets. Projecting double jettied gables to right and to left return,
and 2 storey canted bay to centre left. Stacks to front left and projecting
at end right. One hipped dormer to centre. Oriel windows on both floors to
gable and mullioned windows in bay. Four centred arched rib and stud door in
central raking porch.
