Details
NONINGTON EASOLE STREET TR 25 SE (east side) 3/145 Old Malthouse (formerly listed as 11.10.63 Barn beyond College Cottage) GV II Malthouse. Dated 1704 and extended early C19. Timber framed and rendered on red brick base with thatched roof, extended with red brick and plain tiled and pantiled roofs. Main range of 1 storey, loft and basement with plinth , hipped roof and hipped hoist housing to right with boarded door. Four latticed wooden casements on main floor with boarded door to right and 5 mullioned openings to basement with 1 further blocked to centre right. Outshot to right with English bond brickwork and pantiled roof. Hipped dormer on right front. Rear wing with tiled roof and ventilator with conical top. Date 1704 painted on left return.
