II

Baptist chapel, dated 1832, rubble stone with ashlar dressings and
slate hipped roof. Flush quoins and window dressings. South front
ashlar porch, coped gable and stone slab roof. Above, a plaque
'Ebenezer Chapel 1832' with circular small window above set in
square stone with incised spandrels. 2 window range to sides of
shallow pointed head windows, iron glazing bars with intersecting
heads. Corrugated iron rear lean-to.
Interior with panelled wooden gallery on 2 iron columns. Balustered
north end rail and simple Gothic panelling to lectern and behind
minister's seat, here topped by board to outline of a scrolled
pediment.
