Farmhouse, C17 and C18. Coursed rubble limestone. Stone slate roofs and tile on wing towards road. 2 storey, cellar and attics. Main block parallel to road, 3 bays with axial stack and cross passage to its rear. Added 2-bay wing at right angles, towards road, with gable stack and later side stack. Extension of main block to south, 2 structural bays of 1766 (datestone FT 1766 on stack). Elevation of 1766 extension 4 bays, with door to right bay, divided axially; 6-panel under simple bracketed canopy. 18- pane sashes with early glass, and sprocketed coved eaves. Other windows throughout leaded, in timber casements and timber lintels. Door to earlier section boarded , C18-C19, also with simple canopy. Interior: End room of 1766 build fully panelled with chair rail. Chamfered spine beams elsewhere. (Reference: WILBR B.1509.)
