GV II
House. C16 interior, late C18/early C19 exterior. Timber-framed and rendered; part slate, part concrete C20 roman tiles. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. The building is in 2 distinct sections: on the south the main range has 2 windows to each storey, all sashes in flush cased frames, 16-pane to the 1st storey and wider 20-pane to the ground storey. A central 6-panel door with an integral fanlight has a panelled architrave and flat cornice hood on brackets. To the north is a small section with a steeply-pitched roof and one window to each storey, both sashes in flush cased frames, 12-pane to the 1st storey and a wider 16-pane to the ground storey. The ground storey projects slightly with a small lean-to slate-covered roof above. INTERIOR: not inspected, but said to be partly C16 with exposed beams and an open fireplace.
