BREMHILL EAST TYTHERTON ST 97 NE (south side) 5/44 Chesterman's Farmhouse II Farmhouse, Cl7, timber frame, much altered and heavily restored, with red brick rear wing. Bridgwater tile roofs. Two storeys. Front range has west stack and roof half-hipped at north east angle. Framing indicates a low original building with cross wing to left later substantially raised, leaving cross wing tie-beam and one principal to show original gable line. Square framing. Three window range of C20 small-paned casements, the upper ones with traces of earlier timber mullions. Timber-framed west wall with casement pair and south end stack now incorporated into C19 two- storey, two-window brick rear range. Brickwork of five stretcher courses to one of headers. Door in timber lean-to open porch. Reset datestone 'M.M.-1668' by door.
