EDINGTON EDINGTON VILLAGE ST 95 SW (north side) 5/148 Eight monuments in the churchyard between 3 and 6m south of chancel of Church of St Mary, St Katherine and All Saints GV II Group of eight chest tombs. C18 and early C19, six to the west are to members of Pepler family. Limestone. Two unidentified tombs to the east have oval fielded panels and pilasters, moulded flat tops. Two most westerly tombs both have octagonal fielded panels and carved central panels or pilasters, weathered tops, one is to John Pepler died 1780, the other is probably early C19. The remaining four tombs include one large one with egg and dart moulded panels and scrolled pilasters to Lucy Pepler died 1794, others with plain or fielded panels and pilasters.
