EDINGTON WOODBRIDGE ROAD ST 95 SW (north side) 5/178 Old Manor Cottage 11.9.68 GV II Detached house. C16 and C17, refronted early C18. English bond brick to C18 front, thatched roof with coped verges and pairs of gable end diagonally-set brick stacks. Two-storey, 3-window. Central ribbed door in thatched porch, 3-light leaded C20 casement either side. First floor has three 3-light leaded casements. Central raking attic dormer with 3-light diamond-leaded casement. Right return has remains of timber-frame in rubble stone wall, 2- light ovolo-mullioned casement to ground floor and single ovolo- moulded casement to first floor. Rear not accessible at time of survey (July 1986). Interior recorded by W.B.R: Central hall has moulded beam and joists, wainscot panelling, moulded planked doors and open fireplace with chamfered lintel. Parlour has beam on jowled post with roll mould. First floor retains wainscot panelling. Roof retains some of original timbers with chamfered purlins, formerly with curved windbracing.
