The present building is early C19. Tall pedimented front of brick with moulded
stone string across base of pediment, moulded stone coping on brick dentil
course and with bracketted and weathered stone angle offsets. Semi-circular
radiating window in tympanum. 3 arched windows with radiating glazing on
1st floor. 2 similar but shorter windows on ground floor and central double
6-panel doors in painted stone moulded architrave surround with key block
under flat stone hood with blocking course on cut stone brackets - segmental
relieving arch over. Marble bust now on hood. Stone tile roof with old tile
repairs, half hipped at North-West end. Galleried interior, now a furniture
warehouse. Main vessel of 4 bays.
