Free-standing office building. Late C19. Good coursed dressed limestone in irregular courses, double roman tile roof. A long narrow block set against the hill slope and at right angles to the main building. Three storeys 7-bay symmetrical front in Italianate style, low-pitched hipped roof. Ground floor has 4 pane sashes in flush surrounds with segmental heads and key-stone to string with moulded under-edge; first floor small 4-pane sashes to cill band and with brackets to cills, above a moulded string as at lower level, acting as base course to 16 short Tuscan pilasters framing 4-pane windows and carrying brackets to an eaves cornice. Central 6-panel door under deep 2-pane overlight, segmental head and deep console brackets carrying a cornice which continues the floor string; a second plank door in bay 1, left hand end. The pilaster treatment returns at left and right ends. The back is mostly plain with a projecting central stair housing, under swept down roof. Interior not inspected.
