The cottage is probably C17. 2 storeys. Random rubble. Pantiled roof
with central stone chimney. 2 windows. Triple casements on upper floor,
glazing bars missing. Door with timber lintel set to right. Small ashlar
extension to east. Running from the west wall of the cottage is a range
of farm outbuildings which meets a second range running south at right
angles. Both ranges are open towards the south and form a half-enclosed
farmyard. Possibly C18. 1 storey, with a section at the junction of
the ranges raised above the rest. Coursed rubble with ashlar blocks and
timber baulks used as pillars supporting the roofs on the open sides of
the buildings. Pantiled roofs with stone ridges. Higher corner section
has its own gables with parapets and kneelers. Simple open tie-beam roofs
inside.

All the listed buildings in Pound Lane form a group.
