Details
BURBAGE HIGH STREET SU 26 SW (west side) 2/45 Nos 230 and 232 II
Two estate cottages. 1846. Yellow brick with red brick flush quoining, band and window heads and quoins. Slate roof. Two storeys, 3 bays. Central door blocked and replaced with door at rear. Door to No 232 at side. Metal diamond lattice windows, but central first floor window blind. External gable stacks embracing windows at attic level, and carried up as two heavy flues linked at caps. Lozenge datestones on each gable reading DG 1846. Very wide eaves. C20 extensions to rear.
