Details
MARKET LAVINGTON PARSONAGE LANE SU 0054-0154 (east side) 12/172 No 10 (Fives Court) II Outbuilding to Old Parsonage (demolished 1862), extended as Racquets Court in 1850's, now house. Early C18 and c1860. Diaper brick with flush quoins, pantiled roof. Main elevation facing south, single storey, raised c1860 to two storeys using reclaimed materials. Three bays, and attached to rear the racquets court, red brick, now part converted to dwelling. Central entrance, a boarded door in C20 lean-to brick porch. Stone cross windows to ground floor with gauged brick lintels. Moulded 2-light stone windows set into raised upper floor and roof extended as lean-to on court. Court is of four brick panels, 2 storeys, with 18 and 12- paned sashes, and windows new in c1945.
