GV II

House. Late C17. Limestone ashlar with ironstone plinth, quoins and window surrounds. Hipped old tile roof with brick ridge stacks. 2 storeys plus attic; 5-window range. U-shaped plan. To centre a C20 gabled porch with wood door. Part-glazed door within. 12-pane unhorned sashes to all openings, with dressed surrounds and keyblock. 3 gabled dormers to roof. 2 rainwater heads dated 1848. Large 9-window range extending to rear has further 12-pane sashes and 20-pane cross windows, all with dressed stone surrounds. One 2-light mullioned window to basement, with single light to left. Both windows have chamfered suround. Range to rear has leaded cross windows with dressed surrounds. Some blind lights. Door with 4-centred, chamfered surround with stepped stops. 2 further doorways, one with moulded surround. Large round-headed sash with margin bars. Interior not inspected.
