GV II

Circa 1700 brick house with stone dressings, quoins, string course. Sandstone plinth. Steeply pitched plain tile roof with heavy moulded plaster eaves cornice. Two storeys and attic, three bays. Later square brick porch with sandstone parapet to central bay; four steps up to entrance doorway in north elevation of porch, architrave to six-panel door, windows in west and south elevations - each of two-light cross mullion/transom casements. To either side of porch, cross mullion/transom casements of three lights under flared red brick lintels with stone keyblocks and cills. At first floor a central two-light and to either side three-light cross mullion/transom windows, all under flared red brick lintels with stone keyblocks and cills. Three dormers, two gabled and one flat roofed, all with casements. Two brick ridge chimney stacks at gables.
