Hall house, now house, with addition now forming separate house. Probably late
C15 hall house, floored C17, with C17 addition forming cross-wing to rear right.
False large timber-framing with rendered panels, over original large framing;
cedar shingle roof; brick lateral stacks to rear. Hall house plan, now floored.
2-storey, 2-bay,2-window range. C20 door to C20 porch at left. Irregular
fenestration of C20 casements. Interior: concave-moulded spine beam with
roll-moulding to dining room at ground floor right. Winder staircase from ground
to first floors. Queen-post roof with wattle-and-daub infill between original
hall and right bay. C17 cross-wing to right rear. Large timber-framing with
rendered infill; thatch roof; brick ridge stacks to left and right of centre.
Single storey and attic; 2-bay range. C20 plank door to left of centre. Angled
bay window to centre. Swept dormer to centre. Interior not inspected.
