Details
WOLFHAMPCOTE SP56NW 7/123 Wolfhampcote Hall 06/10/60 II House, now farmhouse. C17; C18 alterations and some rebuilding; C19 alterations. Front of Flemish bond red brick with flared headers and brick dentil cornice; rear of squared coursed sandstone/ironstone C19 tile roof; gabled wings have stone coped gable parapets and finials; left gable has brick tumbling; old brick lateral stacks. H-plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. (:20 conservatory between wings. Inside is a C19 half-glazed moulded 6-panelled door with painted wood Doric pilasters and entablature. Sashes throughout. Wings have canted bays with moulded cornices. First floor has tripartite sash on left and similar late C20 top-hung sash on right. Attic sashes. Brick segmental arches. Central hipped roof dormer has 2-light casement with glazing bars. To rear: entrance in C2f) addition to right. Mostly C20 casements. Blocked 3-light hollow-chamfered mullioned window on right on first floor. Gables have horizontal sashes. Interior: hall has early/mid C19 staircase with iron stick balusters. Room to left has fielded panelling.
