GV II
Farmhouse. Late C17/C18 rear range; mid C18 front range, altered mid C19. Front
range is rendered and has painted rusticated quoins. C19 tile roof has coped
gable parapets; C18 brick external stack to left return side. Rear range of thin
timber framing with infill and some underbuilding of whitewashed brick. Old and
C20 tile roof; C20 brick ridge and internal stacks. L-plan, with wing on left to
rear. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. Symmetrical front. C19 half-glazed
moulded 6-panelled door has overlight with glazing bars, and fluted wood
pilasters. Open porch has flat roof and cast-iron uprights. 16-pane sash above
has rendered flat arch with keyblock. Mid/late C19 two-storey bay windows have
wood cross windows with horizontal glazing bar, and flat roof. Small ground
floor light on left. Cornice of paired painted wood modillions. Right return
side has attic cross window. 2-window timber framed range has central mid C19
moulded 4-panelled door in moulded wood surround. C19 trellis porch. C20
two-light casement above. Old cross window to right, and 2-light casement above
have glazing bars. To rear: exposed brick infill. Interior not inspected.
