Details
OVER WHITACRE NUNEATON ROAD SP29SE (West side) 3/144 Village Hall GV II School house, now village hall. Tudor Gothic style. c.1840. Coursed and dressed sandstone. Hipped slate roof with coved eaves cornice. Central gable to the front carved with a cross. Central doorway in chamfered 4-centred arch. Boarded door has original ironwork. Moulded label continued over flanking windows. 2 casements each of 3-lights with splayed mullions and chamfered surrounds. A similar window and label in the south end wall. The C20 hall at the rear is not of special architectural interest. Included for group value.
