Farmhouse, probably C17 rebuilt 1748, and barn to rear probably
C18, rubble stone with stone tile and Bridgwater tile roofs. House
with end wall and ridge stacks, stone tiles to right of ridge
stack. 2 storeys and attic, 4-window range. Ovolo-moulded recessed
mullion windows, four 2-light windows above, four 3-light below,
with hoodmoulds. Between left side windows, plaque inscribed
'Repaired 1748'. Attic 2-light windows with hoodmoulds each end,
and right end 3-light ground floor window with hoodmould. Ashlar
right end porch with coved cornice and parapet. 6-panel door.
Single storey left end extension with 3-light mullion window and
hoodmould, door to left. Outshut rear. Attached to rear stone tiled
outbuilding, loft over stable. Small upper opening and ground
floor moulded single light with hoodmould and door. Beyond, rubble
stone barn, part stone tiled, with front gabled cart-entry and
rear hipped cart-entry. Lean-to right of front entry and lean-to on
end wall. Tie-beam-and-collar-trusses.
