52/941 Nos. 1/3 and 5 (western part only) (formerly listed under No. 13 15.5.74 Castle Street)

G.V. II

Ofrice Building. 1880's. White brick with sandstone dressings, tiled roof. 2 blocks linked by single storey bay, the western part of 5 storeys and 3 bays, the eastern of 3 storeys and attic and 4 bays. Plain with some Classical detail, sashed windows without glazing bars. The inner bays of each block are treated as 3-light corner canted windows and that to the east has arched windows to top storey which ends in a small spire. Ground floor bays are all glazed as canted bay windows, probably original. Listed for group value only.
