Public house. Circa 1890. Unrendered snecked stone rubble with vermiculated stone dressings to facade, brick dressings to rear. Slate roof with gable ends and crested ridge tiles. Brick stacks to right gable end and set back slightly from the ridge towards left end.

Plan: Overall 'T' shaped plan, with principal room to each side of entrance stairhall with additional entrance at left end, and shallow gabled wing to centre of rear.

Two storeys. Seven window range. All openings have semi-circular arches with vermiculated surround and continuous impost bands to each story. All two paned round-headed sashes. Apart from the three panelled door with window over at left end, the facade attempts symmetry with two pairs of sashes on each floor flanking five panelled door with two sashes above. Each door has plain fanlight.
