(Formerly listed as: WRAFTON ROAD (north-east side), Manor Farmhouse)

2 adjoining houses, formerly farmhouse, early C16 extensively remodelled and
extended in late C20. Rendered cob and rubble with thatched roof, half-hipped
with central slate-capped parapet rising above thatch. Large rubble lateral
stack with inward sloping cap extended in brick with slated off-sets. Axial
brick stack. Originally 3-room and through-passage open-hall plan, internal
partitions are now much altered due to division and extension into 2 dwellings.
Originally 5-window range. 3-light C19 timber casements (3 panes each light)
with added C20 bay of 2-light casements at lower end. Projecting through-passage
porch with slated lean-to roof adjoining lateral stack. To rear of No. 1 is
ground-floor window with chamfered mullions and timber lintel to left of door
with reused Cl7 timber from original windows. Single smoke-blackened truss with
straight principals and smoke-blackened ridge purlin at upper end of No. 1.
