GV II

Terrace Houses, now offices; c1820. Rendered and Colourwashed, with Welsh slate roof and brick chimney stack to right of No 3. Two storeys of 2-bays each house, the terrace being built in stepped pairs, of which Nos 3 and 4 are the middle pair. Central doorways on either side of the party wall; the upper panels of both doors removed for glazing and having segmental timber porch hoods over, on simple wooden brackets: one 16-pane window to each floor of each house - all glazing bars intact. The interiors not seen. The rear extensions of little interest. There are no boundary railings to the front of this pair, but the early Cl9 railings are continued on the churchyard side of the access path. A stepped terrace of houses, with Nos 1/2 and 5/6 Church Terrace (qv): an important element in the setting of the Church of St. John the Baptist.
