CHESWARDINE C.P. CHESWARDINE SJ 7029-7129 12/5 Chest tomb approx. 13 - metres to north-west of tower of Church of Saint Swithun GV II
Chest tomb. Circa 1800. Red sandstone ashlar. Oval plan. Reeded pilaster strips, incised panels, and moulded cornice to octagonal top. Oval-shaped flaming urn finial with moulded base, and reeded bowl with swags over paterae and winged angels. Inscription illegible at time of survey (March 1986).
