Stable block, now converted into eleven flats. Early C19. Sandstone ashlar, Welsh slate roof and coped gables with moulded kneelers. Brick lateral stacks. C20 roof lights. Two storeys, canted plan of three ranges.
Outer elevation. Central range has raised quoins and seven bay round-arched arcade. Centre bay advanced, with an open pediment on hanging pilasters with triglyphs and the Devonshire crest. Central round-arched carriage entrance with blind tympanum, flanked by three-bay round-arched blind arcades with continuous impost band forming the lintels to three casement windows. Two circular windows above the spandrels.
Range to right has irregular elevation of doorway, a lean-to not of special interest and a casement window, and two casement windows and a blind doorway above. Left hand range of five bays with first floor band stepped up over some windows. Central tripartite sash, two single bar sashes to left, one to right and a small casement. Three single bar sashes above.
Within the courtyard the central range continues the round-arched theme. Large C20 casements set in, and rows of five single bar sashes above. To the right and left various sashes and C20 fenestration.
