House. Circa 1820. Stuccoed coursed limestone rubble with hipped
slate roof. Basement and 3 storeys. Deep eaves, and semi-integral
brick end-stack to right and integral brick end-stack to left. 2
windows to first and second floors; 16-pane glazing bar sashes, those
to left blind; ground floor 16-pane glazing bar sash to right; central
door with 8 raised and fielded panels, deep 3-panelled reveals (bottom
panels flush). 3-part rectangular overlight and doorcase consisting
of attenuated Greek Doric half-columns supporting narrow frieze with
fretted decoration and moulded cornice. One bay left-hand return
front with 16-pane glazing bar sashes. Interior: early-C19 staircase
rising both floors; 3-flights per storey around square well with
turned balusters (some replaced) and square and moulded newel posts.
Outbuilding to right: coursed limestone rubble with slate roofs.
2 storeys in 2 blocks, stepped down slope to right. Left-hand block
with 3 first floor blind windows and ground floor segmental-headed
boarded door to left.
