12/68 Coach-house wing - linking Brewery to rear wing of the Three Tuns Inn
GV II
Former coach-house, store-rooms and upper Assembly Room. Between 1880 and 1888. Red brick, timber framed first floor to left with herringbone framing and brick nogging, and slate roof. 2 storeys and attic. Projecting first floor to left with corbelled brick fire-break wall to right extending through roof to form parapet, flat-topped dormer to left with 4-light window, integral brick end stack to right and brick ridge stack off-centre to left. 2 central first floor 8-pane glazing bar sashes and 4-flush-panelled door to left reached by cast iron spiral staircase; ground floor, left to right: large boarded double doors to carriageway beneath projecting first floor to left; segmental-headed boarded double garage doors; boarded passageway door with 3-part Segmental-headed overlight, segmental-headed boarded door; c20 casement; boarded door with 3-part segmental-headed overlight. Included for group value.
