GV II

Terrace of 4 houses, now divided into flats and offices. 1827 and 1828 (datestones) with later additions and alterations. Red brick, slate roof having 4 axial ridge stacks with tops re-built in late C19 yellow brick. 3 storeys, dentilled wooden eaves cornice carried up around pediments, 4-window front to each pair of houses, central bays of each forming projecting pedimented break, glazing bar sashes with plain stone lintels to first and second floors except to outer bay of No. 22, where replaced by plate-glass sash and late C20 top-hung casement respectively; prominent early C20 bay windows to ground floor of each inner and outer bay, that to No. 22 re-modelled late C20. Nos. 16 and 16a (to left) have a C20 paired pedimented doorcase; original low-pedimented doorcase to No. 18 has 6-panel door with rectangular overlight and panelled reveals; similar entrance to No. 20 but that to No. 22 re-modelled late C20 with half-glazed door. Wide segmental-headed passageway to right of No. 22 has glazing bar sash above on each floor. Datestones 1827 (right) and 1828 (left) to pediments.
