Cowhouse approx. 50m north-east of Upper Sweeney Farmhouse

Cowhouse. Late C18 with later alterations. Uncoursed limestone rubble,
corrugated iron roof with coped verges on stone kneelers to left gable
end. 2 levels; 5 flat-headed doors to ground floor with eaves hatch
above central one, square nesting holes to left and right. Interior:
C19 cowstalls and continuous hay loft; double-purlin roof in 3 bays
with raking struts from tie beams supporting principal rafters. Included
for group value.
