SP3003-3103 BAMPTON CHURCH CLOSE (North-east side) 13/52 Mayville and Felix Cottage 12/09/55 (Formerly listed as Felix Cottage and "Bungalow")

GV II Pair of houses. Mid C18, refurbished C20. Coursed rubble limestone, stone slate roof. External stone chimney to right, later brick chimney to left. 2 storeys, 4 bays, the left bay a later C18/C19 addition. Irregular 3-pane sashes and wooden casements, mostly renewed C20, with stop-chamfered wooden lintels. Ground floor window in third bay is cross casement. C20 door between left bays, with C20 wooden hood on brackets. Late C18-C19 2-panelled door between right bays, with older wooden hood on brackets and wooden frame. Later 2-light casement above right door. Sun fire insurance plaque. Said to be C17, but without visible confirmation.
