GV II
House. Late C17 with later additions and alterations. Uncoursed limestone rubble
with alternating angle quoins; stone slate roof. 3-unit baffle-entry plan. 2
storeys. Lean-to porch with C20 half-glazed door to right side and ridge stack,
directly below eaves to left. Two C19 casements directly below eaves to right of
porch and one in cut-away section to right, also directly below eaves. Ground
floor has 3-light mullion window with dripstone immediately to right of porch
and rectangular window with dripmould in slight projection to right. Iron
reversed S-shaped brace between. Rear has lean-to projection (said to house
staircase) with small casement on first floor to right of centre with 2
casements directly below eaves to left and one to right. 3-light mullion window
with dripstone on each side of projection to ground floor. Interior. Not
inspected at time of resurvey (May 1987) but likely to be of interest. C20
single-storey flat-roofed projection to rear is not of special architectural
interest.
