Details
BLENHEIM SP41NW 2/20 New Bridge 27/08/57 GV I Bridge. 1773, by Sir William Chambers. Limestone ashlar. 3 semi-circular archivolt arches; bracketed and modillioned cornice beneath balustraded parapet. Rusticated end piers, each with paterae set in fluted frieze, from which sweep abutments with terminal piers. (Buildings of England: Oxfordshire: p474; National Monuments Record; Blenheim Park is included in the HBMC Register of Parks and Gardens at Grade I)
